Reflecting on 2017 Trends

With just six weddings left to go this season, it’s time to reflect on the weddings and events we have already catered for this year; and what a busy season it has been! From private dinner parties for 20 guests, weddings with over 200 and afternoon teas for 600 guests, we have certainly been kept on our toes!

As ever, all of our menus are bespoke, designed for each individual event, so there has been plenty of variety.  There have, however, been some obvious trends in the marquee set-up, with coloured table linen and distinctive chairs being a prominent feature in several of our recent events.  ‘Clay’ tablecloths have been a favorite for 2017, along with crossback chairs or ice chiavari.  Coloured glassware and gold cutlery have also featured in our table lay-ups, thanks to classic crockery event hire.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the season so far and look forward to our Christmas events once the wedding season is over!
